As part of the expansion of the Custody, for the purpose of having a field of pastoral ministry for our friars in the local Church and pastoral training for our friars in St. Maximilian M. Seminary, the acceptance of a parish was decided. The Parish of San Agustin located at Parañaque City was established last December 15, 1996. From 1997 the construction of the new Church was started and was consecrated on August 27, 2000. On June 12, 2003 the filial house community attached to St. Maximilian M. Seminary was raised to a friary.
