The request of the three junior friars namely: Fra Clae Dungog, Fra Leonides Mateo and Fra Fidelis del Rosario for Lectorate Ministry was approved by the Custos and his definitory.
Last March 25, 2010 they were officially instituted in the Ministry of Lectorate during the Eucharistic celebration in San Augustin Parish presided by the Provincial Custos Friar Mariel M. Santos, OFMConv. Present also in the celebration were Friar Dennnis Vargas, OFMConv., rector of St. Maximilian Seminary, Friar Angelo Brences, OFMConv., guardian of San Augustin Friary, Friar John Vianney Acosta, OFMConv.,Parish Administrator of San Augustin Parish, Friar Gabriel Pangilinan, OFMConv., Friar Giorgio Tassone, OFMConv., and Friar Emmanuele Lavanella OFMConv.from the province of Naples, Italy, the YOUFRA, SFO San Augustin and other parishioners.
